Dutch fashion retailers are paying "starvation wages" at factories in a major hub for the global garment industry in southern India, forcing many workers into crippling debt, a report on Tuesday showed.
The Milanese lifestyle retailer will open its first North America store at the revitalized Seaport District in New York City. The 13,000-square-foot store will be designed by American artist Kris Ruhs.
The Dutch brand will focus on communications in the autumn, introducing a global advertising campaign. Labelled "From Amsterdam, From Everywhere", the campaign will run in print, online and out of home.
