Luxury titan Bernard Arnault on Friday confirmed that LVMH is already actively using blockchain for several of its luxury brands, as the French billionaire and high-tech fan presented the latest Innovation Award.
At the Viva Technology show, on May 16-18 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris, L’Oréal will present My Little Factory, a technology for the large-scale production of customised foundations.
LVMH has revealed the names of the 26 companies featured in the second edition of its ‘Start-up House’ technology incubator at Paris start-up campus Station F. Half of them also took part in the first edition.
Next May, the luxury giant will award a prize for the best customer experience solutions for the group’s labels to a start-up. Eligible start-ups must have less than 10 years in business and 100 employees.
The tech tradeshow, dedicated to start-ups, kicks off this Thursday. With 250 sessions planned, Viva Technology showcases the best of luxury with the involvement of several different brands from LVMH Group.
