Carlin creative trend bureau: Finery trend - Menswear FW 2017-18

At the occasion of the #MENSWEAR FW17/18 trend book launch, Carlin offers you a preview of the FINERY theme through 2 stories dedicated to Nature.
With its vegetal elegance and animal seduction, Nature brings a new luxury for every day. Inspired by ornamental preciousness, the silhouette shows structured lines and elaborates new volumes.

Urban carapace

The biker look plays with lengths and new volumes: streamlined cuts inspired by the carapace of insects. The embossed leather with «beetle» effect is worn on top of an oversized sweater, and a light coated jeans-pants with rounded biker style cuttings.
The color range of deep burgundies and blues is energized by the off-white and shiny gold.

Meta-Nature

For an ornamental style, the graphics play with nature and source their inspiration at the heart of a greens & gold imaginary forest.
An innovating ornamentation, to be done in gradation to give emphasis to an urban chic look.
