Artistic director: christine phunginspiration: the 70’s reinterpreted, the freedom and joy expressed in this decade. collection: a bright and seductive wardrobe with iconic prints revisited, a silhouette injected with sportswear references. flowers all over, sometimes embroidered with pearls and sequins. asymmetrical drapes, lamés and shiny jacquards makes us think of images of farah fawcett, bianca jagger, the disco and the energy of those years.focus on the bra tops, pleated plunge dresses with a halter back, ultra-fine taffeta coats, a blouse with puffed sleeves and a metallic skirt draped over the front.to note: the sports bags with floral patterns and the metallic sandals with thin heels.interview with christine phung: the seventies are in the spotlight for this new summer 2020 collection, which is a collection inspired by the joy of life and the energy of night clubbing in the 70’s.lamés, metallics, fabrics coated in metal… i wanted to work on very sensual things that suggests a powerful side, especially in a wardrobe that is a handover, relating to different moments of a woman’s life, playing sport for example, before she goes out. so, to find a new way to restyle the cocktail dress with original clothes and with details inspired by sportswear, but reimagined, and also a work on ambiguity, on tailoring, but all this being mixed and structured by playing with layering. music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
